Beef stroganoff

Ingredients: serves 4


Method:

  1. Heat oil in a large pan/wok-style and sauté onions until soft.
  2. Add meat and seal. Reduce heat to medium and cook for further 5 minutes.
  3. Add mushrooms and seasoning. Cook over medium heat until meat and mushrooms cooked, wait about another 5 minutes before adding the cream.
  4. Reduce heat and swirl in pan to heat through cream and deglaze pan.

To serve:

Serve with boiled rice.

Recipe tips:

Store mushrooms in the fridge in brown paper bags that are provided at supermarkets to keep them fresher for longer.
